XBMC4Xbox Issues and Tweaks?

Hi all, I have a modded NTSC Xbox v1.0 that I used Softmod Installer Deluxe to softmod. It's got a 500GB SATA drive with an upgraded PATA 100 cable. I installed XBMC4Xbox 3.5. I have it outputting in 720p. I turned the fan override on to 60%.

Anyhow, here are some issues that I hope to resolve.

DVDs

When I insert an NTSC DVD, everything works as expected. When I insert a PAL DVD, nothing happens. I can navigate to the D: and play the Video_TS individually (though it only plays in clips which sucks). I seem to remember my last modded Xbox playing PAL DVDs just fine, but this one seems like it's missing something....

Youtube Plugin

I'm using the latest Youtube Plugin found with the Add-ons app. If I move the playback quality to "SD Only", then Youtube clips don't play and it eventually throws up an error and tells me to check the log file. When I bump up the resolution to 720p for playback it works (but it's obviously unplayable).

Skin

I'm using Confluence Light (that was included in the XBMC4XBOX 3.5). Is there a more memory-sensitive skin to use with the original Xbox w/ XBMC4Xbox 3.5?

Rom Collection Browser

Whenever I download Rom Collection Browser via the AddOns4XBMC app, then it gets to the very end of the installation an said that I have to install it manually or something (while still installing a lot of the files). What's the work around to getting this to work? I've heard that Advanced Launcher is better, should I be using this instead?

Tweaks?

Are there any tweaks to be done for getting an Xbox to run as efficient as possible aside from using an optimized skin?

Dang, no one?

I'm using Confluence Light Low Mod right now. I like the UI, but I hate that I can't map the sub menus under "Programs" to certain locations within the UI. Right now, opening up "Emulators" or "Games" just brings me to a blank page. Opening the main "Program" menu will give me a blank page, but I can hit the "B" button" and then the "A" button again to see a file structure (a bug).

I'm wondering what other skins people have found to use very low memory, and also why placing a PAL DVD in my drive produces no video automatically.

go first to main programs - add sources with the names and they will work.

How about playing PAL DVDs on an NTSC Xbox? I remember my old Xbox in the past used to do this no problem. Is there some setting that I need to enable in UnleashedX or in XBMC to allow this? Or should it already be allowed? Or shouldn't it?

That worked great.

I finished another xbox, and that one plays the PAL DVD just fine. So that answers my question that the Xbox should be turned into region free after a soft mod.
