XBMC4Xbox 3.5 Beta 4 is out

Due to some recent changes, and a few more issues reported and fixed, we decided to push out another beta.

XBMC4Xbox Beta 4 is out, which includes the following changes:

• Fixed string encoding issue on system information screen.
• Fixed some cases where XBMC addons would fail due to our strict type checking – now automatically convert parameters for listitem’s to the correct type where possible.
• Additional Python API infolabels / infotags.

Should there be no more major issues, we hope the final release is just around the corner

Hi there refer to this thread http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... 315#p18223. I'm sorry haven't been keeping up with new updates still on 3.3.3 works fine for kids dvds and dvd rips thanks for your time

I asked you in that thread to provide a sample file, and you never did - I also asked you to open a ticket on the bugtracker. I have no idea if the problem is fixed, as I don't have the file to test with. dvd and mpeg2 playback is fine on my system with the latest beta with my own collection of dvds.

is someone else experiencing issues with this version? i just updated from 3.3 i guess but mkv/x264 bdrips do NOT play anymore? this always worked perfectly before... any idea? thanks

firstly you posted in the wrong section if your having problems you should have posted in the general help section rather than the announcements section anyways ......

ive had no problems playing stuff so far but ill test some hd mkv rips ive transcoded using ffmpeg and report back with the results.

could be something else thlough so i suggest posting a link to your debug log to let others see whats going on
