Members Attempting to Use 80GB Seagate ST380011A

Post by A2600 »

I found a hand-me-down of a Seagate 80GB ST380011A, on the database it shows lockable and that it was compatible

I used the Splinter Cell Exploit and Endure to load Chimp and that did not work, the xbox threw different errors at me and would not boot, I read and I read that someone got lucky with Slayers 2.6 or 2.7 but those are for chip modded boxes.

So In this great site I found mrmajikbus45 Chimp tutorial and decided to follow his steps. Now the Xbox will boot but you will see the stock drive size you have to go into Chimp via the mrmajikbus45 tutorial and extend all partitions to F and I am happy to say I now have

C: 135.97 MB
E: 4,677.00 MB
F: 68,668.95 MB

Now to go learn to add maybe XBMC or Emulator or the Coinops

Patience and read, read and read

Xbox modding is not new there is plenty of resources out there

Best Regards
