plug ins for xbox

can anyone help on adding plugins on xbox norrmally you add from zip but i cant find that function i tried unzipping and ftp to plugin folder but still wont run thanks

With xbmc running....go into programs and select addons4xbox installer we have our own repo (most should be working), or you can install mainline addons too but many probably won't work right or at all. There is also an option to install from a zip if you would like to do it that way...

thanks i dont have xbmc4xbox installer im using xbmc installer deluxe v1.46

New builds come with a4x installer built in, I would suggest searching the forum and getting the latest stable version (3.3.3) and installing that...just place it in a seperate folder at first if you don't want to get rid of the build you're currently using.

thanks i ran from folder kool how do i perminantly install it delete my aid installer deluxe

Download the XBMC3.3.3 from the drop box link in that thread. Extract the file using winrar, 7zip, etc. Rename XBMC folder currently on xbox to XBMC__OLD, or delete it. FTP the contents of what you unzipped into XBMC (Just XBMC) folder on your xbox. Do this while having your current version of XBMC running. After you have copied the stuff over, MAKE sure it's right. then you're done.

thanks one more silly question i added a few plug ins but they dont show up although they did say installed succesfully the only ones that showed up are tvcatchup and navi-x i really wanted mashup working

change that nothing works the only plugins that install are baltimore rovers mash up sports a holic and tvcatchup but none of them run they all come up with an error what am i doing wrong can anyone tell me which plugins actually work

Are you running xbmc add-ons? If so, they may not work. You need to use the XBMC4XBOX addons in that listing. For more information, see the link at the top of this page called "Addons Status".
After installing, look in the respective places on your Xbox such as "Video, Programs, Pictures, Music" under Plug-ins.
