External USB HDD?

Post by ola »

I have been using XBMC for a LONG time. I've always had my setup whit one file server and then I played all my music on the Xbox. Now I'm not having a file server any more. What are the different options for file storage?

Is it possible to hook an external 2.5" usb drive to the xbox or do I have to change the internal 3.5" drive?

The external USB can be 4GB max on any port. Internal is your only option and you can only have one. You can use laptop HDDs or standard 3.5 drives.
