hope im not repeating a post if so i appologise.
i have set up xbmc and navi x on a laptop without issues, but i know that the xbox is a different ball game alltogether,
i have an xbox with xbmc installed , but just cant undertsand how to get navi x to run or where to install the repositories if at all etc, ive seen the in the forum about the xai installer and can connect to laptop via ftp to xbox . but where do i put xai and then what do i do, ive also seen whufclee set up , but again where and how to run it all, ...could do with a basic step by step guide, , but cant find it anywhere, ive managed to transfer stuff onto q drive of xbox , and tried to run scripts or add ons but nothing seems to work, i just think im either putting them in the wrong directory or not using them in the right way,,, some help would be really appreciated ,,,
hope someone can help.

Yes XBMC4Xbox is a little different to mainbranch as we still use the old plugins and scripts structure rather than the newer "addons". Plugins go in the relevant plugin folder so for example XAI is a program plugin so you extract it and ftp to Q:\plugins\programs\
If you have a script (like Navi-X) you would ftp that to Q:\scripts
A Video plugin would go to Q:\plugins\video and so on....
Best bet would be to install Jans build which you'll find on here as that comes with loads of pre-installed popular addons and then ftp XAI over and see if there's anything on there you want installed (I don't think Jans comes with Navi-X so you'll want to install that from XAI - it's in the Movies/TV section under scripts). If using Jans build DO NOT copy over the script module pack as instructed to do on my XAI thread - he already has the modules and if you copy over the ones I've linked to it will break some addons.
Once you've ftp'd XAI over you'll find it in programs>plugins

havi installed jans xbmc build, and navi x all working great,
i have to go into xbmc / programs and start jans build from there , is it possible to get the xbox to run and boot directly into jans build , i think i may not have installed it correctly , but not sure

yes if you follow the video guide on "update via ftp" that's the way to to it.
