I mooded my old xbox but its shutting down by itself and its not working well... so I bought a brand new xbox from a guy and Im trying to switch hard disks between both...but it gives me error 06....is it bcuz I need to go through the modding process all over again with the new xbox? (I cant cant just switch hard disks?) thank you in advance guys

It is more useful for both people to reply to you and people looking for answers on the forum to set a subject that gives an overview of the topic. IE. "Help swapping harddrives between xboxes etc".

To answer your question, unless your hhd is 1) unlocked 2) console is chipped or tsop flashed you are not able to just swap hdd's from xbox to xbox.
