About R partitition ndure in file explorer

Hi, its posssible block or no show the r partition in the file explorer? or show only in rread only?, these partition have a system files from exploit ndure, a novice or mistake can end badly
The same proble is present in FTP

There is an option under System>Settings>Appearance>File lists>Allow file renaming and deletion (disabled by default) but it doesn't do anything unfortunately. BTW, the R: drive is hidden under XBMC 9.04.1 r20848. My suggestion is to "Lock file manager" via System>Settings>System>Master lock>Master lock code and settings>Master lock (select Numeric password/Gamepad button combo)>Lock file manager>OK

Actually it should do something, not tried it in a while but it always worked for me. Presuming it's still working it allows you to delete and rename items when browsing through media file lists rather than having to use filemanager. If it's disabled then it just makes it extra safe so kids/wife can't accidentally delete some movies (unless they physically go into filemanager).

Thank for help. It's a personal opinion but I think the R should be hidden partition as it was in the old versions or else be read only
Deny access to file explorer do not see a good solution and the problem remains unresolved the partition R is still accessible from FTP

You are right about preventing them from deleting media file lists using the above feature. Locking the File Manager is the only way to prevent direct access to R: drive for now.

I implemented a ShadowC security feature in the last SID release that makes it so the real C can only be accesed via the XBMC Installer disc Im sure that the same could be done with Ndure
