Well it was that time of year again that I always dread - Glastonbury tickets went on sale this morning (a VERY stressful time!). However we managed to get them in record time this year - only took 1hr 30mins of 8 of us trying (in different countries), phone on redial and god knows how many tabs in how many browsers refreshing!
So I've got mine is anyone else going next year?

Re: Glastonbury Tickets
ah it must be Reading festival that's only 2 days?
Mate of mine has a delightful tale about that one, one year they had a massive line of urinals at the top of a hill. Due to the volume of users(and presumably bad plumbing) there was a river of piss running downhill right through where people were pitching their tents.
There was also the time they were kept awake all night by the "slapping sounds" from the next tent.
As a result I have no desire to attend a music festival!

Re: Glastonbury Tickets
Ah yes the rivers of urine are a festival speciality, that's why you always need a tent with a good groundsheet
Same as you don't want to arrange to meet people within a 50 foot radius of the toilets, you can put up with the smell but the ground gets a bit squidgy! Are you sure I can't talk you into it? Glastonbury sold out in record time this year - 140,000 tickets in 1hr 40mins so you can't do that one but there's plenty more to choose from... or you could just sample the festival atmosphere by sitting in your local public toilets with a can of stongbow and a boombox

Re: Glastonbury Tickets
haha yeah I heard on the radio they sold out in record time.
I couldn't go to such a thing even if I wanted, crappy illness is crappy
Maybe one day.
Oh and Norwich market loo's = paddling time. At least that was the case a few years ago. I guess I've already sampled the atmosphere
