HELP Xenium Mod Chip

THis was meant for a reply to Floyd .... but I posted it ...like an idiot...

if anyone has some thoughts though, I would love the help.


Trying to do the LCD mod. I have a V 1.0 xbox all modded up , I'm trying to get it to run with the Xenium chip. I can not get any boot cd/dvd to put ....hexen, slayer AI. I have some boxes for parts, so I have tried a smasung drive, a thompson, and a phillips.... nothing works, all I get is the xenium logo, i don't get a bios menu option. I can unhook the mod chip and the xbox boots up just fine

I have, triple checked my DO wire,

re soldered my header pins

banged my head against a wall!!!

burned countless different cds dvds of various install and bios disks....

Is there a jumper on the mod PCB i was supposed to connect I missed or something???

right now the lcd is wired into the chip, but it's not wired to power yet

thanks Flotdthebarber ... I didnt have a proprietary controller and I assumed that it couldn't possibly be the issue,
