Add source freezes, installing emulators, understanding xml
Okay so I've recently got my Xbox running and was able to get xbmc to load as the primary dash. How can I add emulators in the program's menu? I don't understand how to change files to create short cuts.

Add a source in the programs library, named Emulators, and point it at the directory they are stored in. Once the source is added the link will work

Enable Debug Mode, go into Programs and try to add a source, it will freeze, restart Xbox and upload xmbc.old.log at pastebin.com or similar and give us a link here, see this link for full details: http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... p?f=6&t=65
You can use File Manager to navige to your programs and emulators, find the XBE and run it like that.

That is not a DEBUG log, see link I posted earlier how to enable DEBUG mode - it would show things like skin name, which would be useful to identify if you use a standard one or a custom one.
However, I can see you're using an older version, it would be recommended to update to a newer version like 3.5 (clean install, meaning in a new folder, not necessarily doing anything drastic) - look for the "unofficial builds" thread or see the program plugin in my signature for an easy way to update to a newer version, especially that mentioned you have setup XBMC4Xbox as a dashboard so you understand how it works.

Still no changes in this issue. About to scrap XBMC. Though it is a great looking dash. There is others that are easier to use add works to add programs. A program to convert exe. to xbe. would be a great tool and hope to see one in the future.

Have updated to latest xbmc as previously suggested? We can't assist if you don't do as suggested and provide detailed feedback on what you have done! Additionally, the debug log is necessary for us to have a better idea as to what's going on.Pornstar666 wrote:Still no changes in this issue. About to scrap XBMC. Though it is a great looking dash.
