Nephew yanked this metalic peice on back of xbox and it hasn't worked since, anyone know what to do.
Yes it is modded with EvoX.

it's out side coating the cable is metal it could of shorted on the motherboard somewhere and broken it ?
but it could of just pulled one of the wires off the board ?
that cable is the programmer for the modchip to plug into your pc you shuld not need to use it if it were removed the xbox shuld still go.
we need to know more to help you tho ie:
Does it power up lights flash etc...?
What colours does it flash if so?
Does it come up with an error code on the screen etc...?
Also a better picture might help of the area where the chip is soldered to on the motherboard and of the chip as it is barley visable at the moment.

will work on better pics.
After start up it flashes red and green and gives the send back to company screen.

does it come up with the words superfro at the top and a list of numbers down the side with a whole lot of fault codes and the descriptions?
if not it sounds like it is not booting from the chip as if it were a hacked bios it would have a hacked error screen i believe they all have the same error screen.
the d0 wire may of come off but we do need better pictures.
