
One use I could see for using a FDD, is with Amiga emulation, wouldn't it be cool if you could play Amiga games from the original floppy disks on WinUAEX.
I seem to remember that PC disk drives couldn't read Amiga disks, although my old tower Amiga could read DOS floppy disks?
I have a USB FDD that I've conected to my Xbox through a USB to controller port adaptor.
XBMC4xbox comes up with unable to mount memory unit, the Xbox dashboard just flashes, and the drive makes a noise in time to the flashing?
UnleashX doesn't recoginise it all.
Linux recognises and loads at boot up, but I don't seem to be able to find the disk on the desktop, maybe because I'm not that fluent with Linux?
I can't see a way of making an Amiga emulator read anything other than ADF's. I can get WinUAE (on PC) to read CD's and DVD's and even real hard drives, just not floppy disks?
