Xecuter control panel/faceplate
I have recently bought one of these front panels with the LCD screen and was wondering if I got an xbox with an xecuter 2.6 chip would it be compatible ?

no sorry you need a 4th or 5th gen modchip to support a lcd display.
the x3 would be the easyiest as it would be plug and play.

Okay thanks so if I bought an xbox with xecuter 3 chip installed I could just remove the old faceplate and put on the new one and it should work fine ?

Well I know you would have to move the plugs around but everything should connect up if I remove the old faceplate and old control panel how does the LCD screen connect ?

I sent you a PM. I will help you through it. It is not hard at all. You should send a picture of the motherboard after the hard drive and DVD drive was removed. This way I can give you exact directions of what to do. You will also need to go into the options of the X3 mod chip to enable the LCD.

...and if you're in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, I'm happy to sell and post you a used X3 I have.
Re: Xecuter control panel/faceplate
Guys, I have a X3CP without the USB ports connected. What's the proper way to split the controller ports worth the USB? I'm going to install relays eventually, but I wonder if I am missing a piece / daughterboard or something similar that originally shipped with it.
