Using ebid

Post by spicemuseum »

Guys, I'm intending to use ebid to list a couple of boxes for sale. Anyone got any advice or observations to make about ebid or use of that market place ?

It looks empty to me...

At least for xbox console/mods. Give it a shot.

Hi, I have been using ebid since July 2010, and it does have advantages over ebay.

Its cheaper... a LOT cheaper :D
A one off fee of £99.98 will get you a lifetime membership, and no selling fees AT ALL EVER! Special offers are sometimes available.
You can list until sold
Make an offer (like buy it now)
List for 3 to 90 days
Fixed price or auction
Auto repost a listing
Auto extend a listing
5 free photos
Worldwide not just ebid UK
ebid store (shop)
Payment by paypal is available, but you don't HAVE to have a paypal account to use ebid!
ebid also have the option of paymnents by PPPay.com, I've signed up to this but no-one has ever paid me using it. Although again cheaper fees than paypal
There is also quite a friendly and active ebid forum

The main disadvantage is that it just not as popular or well known as ebay, so therefore things don't sell as quickly or as often.
But I think the cheaper listing options and the fact that you are not bound by ebays increasingly strict and stupid rules is a big advantage ;)

See my ebid items for sale here... :D and check out the Forum Marketplace

If anyone has any questions about ebid, please let me know and I will try to help :)
