Library Mode and an SMB Source

Post by insidious611 »

So I have a 1TB external drive I've added as a source for Video and Music using SMB. It works just fine, except that Library Mode is always greyed out and I can't figure out how to make it work. Libraries are enabled for both Video and Music in the settings. Am I missing a step? Is SMB not supported in library mode in XBMC4XBOX, because it seems to be supported in mainline?

have you scanned any items to the library yet?

you need to choose a folder with say "Movies" and open up the context menu and choose "set content". then select the type and you can scan the folder which will add items to the library.
