UnleashX weirdness: error3 on save screen settings, no icons

Hiya!

I am experiencing some UnleashX weirdness on my 1.4 xbox with a xecuter3 installed... trying to set it up as a "backup dash" on this xbox (making the x3 boot to it if the trigger is pressed during boot), in case xbmc gets damaged or something
Here are my issues:

a. it does not display the icons in the config menu:



b. I cannot save the screen calibration settings (other settings saving works OK though)



I am using the latest version found on XBINS, also tried installing from AID4.53 ... tried having it in E:\UNLEASHX\DEFAULT.XBE and in C:\UNLEASHX.XBE (along with the config/lang xmls) , tried with x3 and ind bios , nothing helped. The same files run OK on my x2 1.6 machine , I don't understand why I can't get it to work on the 1.4 xbox

Probably something stupid that I can't think of atm, any help will be greatly appreciated TIA!

Which version of UnleashX are you using?

Try using UnleashX to copy a small file (doesn't matter which one) to E:\UDATA\9e115330\0064122817A8\, see if it lets you do it.

If it doesn't work, try using a different dash to copy a small file to E:\UDATA\9e115330\0064122817A8\

Post back with your results.

I am using this version found on XBINS:

tried what you told me, there were a bunch of xbr files there IIRC (icons cache?)... I deleted them all and copied over the .nfo from the unleash dir, it worked fine.
Rebooted but I still have the same problems...

edit: both problems solved now, I deleted the whole E:\UDATA\9e115330\ directory , ran UnleashX again and it works fine , probably something left from an older setup that bugged it...
