Flashing Duo X2
I have an x2 with fujitsu chip that i'm trying to re flash so i can rectify a hdd capacity issue, 300gig ide that shows as only 120 free space in file manager on F but drive is a fresh install and is empty. Tried M8+ bios but i get an error message and flashing is only working with X2 bioses but this not fixing the hdd issue.

Re: Flashing Duo X2
+1. I would be very suprised that there is a non-LBA48 BIOS on the chip.
That sound like a 137GB limit jumper being On. And here is a bit of maths to prove the theory. ^^
137×.931= 127.547 // HDD manifacturer = 1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes.. so we fix that.
127.547×1024= 130608.128 // Real GB to real MB.
130608.128-5120-500-(3*750)= 122738.128 // E:/ (5GB) C:/ (500MB) X:/ (750MB) Y:/ (750MB) Z:/ (750MB) --> From memory, I might be off by a couple MBs ^^
122738.128÷1024= 119.86 // MB to GB
If you have trouble flashing the chip (which, you should not have any), you can try this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/i12jf ... _FLASH.rar
I flashed several chip and TSOP with it, including DuoX 2's. All using big HDDs. So if the flash does not work, there is a bigger problem than that.

Re: Flashing Duo X2
Thanks guys, you could be right about a jumper although i didnt see another one. Ok so there is no hdd capacity limit jumper so i tried another bios and same problem, so i used xbpartioner to format F so now it has the full 272gig showing. When i launched xbp it gave an LBA48 info not found and bios to update the bios, continued anyway and its fine now.
