Hi everyone, I am wondering if any of you guys has already send a parcel from the UK to the USA, I have to send an Xbox to a guy who bought it in the USA, I wanna go for the cheapest courier service, I did a Google search and all I find is 3 days courier services etc and it's quiet expensive, is there any cheaper economy service to use?
Cheers

Re: International parcels
There is no cheap fast way to make an Xbox cross the sea, the most important thing to know is that your package need to be ready for abuse.
Last Xbox I have sent to the UK was perfectly packaged and yet it arrived home with a bottom corner of the case all cracked.
Be ready for a 40-60£ shipping + Customs (10-20-30£, buyer normally pay those fees.). And remember that getting caught doing a false declaration mean that the package get destroyed. Read the TOS of the mailing service you are going to use, and check if you can legally send item "as gift" in the USA.
I would not recommend shipping it per ground (boat), its "3 week and more" that mean that it can take 4-5-6 weeks.
And go at your local post office, often not every options are listed online.
