Time for an ebay brag thread I think, show off your purchase

Post by asbo »

So I just got a 'faulty' xbox 360 slim 4GB for £38(including p+p), the only thing wrong with it was someone had installed a 320GB hard drive that no longer works(does that clicking thing). Took that out and it boots no problem.
Considering these cost about £150 new plus around £30-£50 for the hard drive why would you not try and 'fix*' it before selling it?
*I don't really consider opening the easy access flap and pulling out the hard drive fixing it :D
Anyway their loss, my gain

Anyone else got any bargains recently? :)

EBay not involved here but a good deal none the less I thought. Two 360s both allegedly NON goers for a hand to move some furniture. Both have no HDDs, power supplies, cables or controllers. I ripped them both apart and one has had a headsink replacement at one stage and that machine is a Xenium. The other one was a virgin being never opened and looks clean as inside which makes me think it has a faulty DVDrive. It it is a Falcon. It's case looks like it come straight out of the box without any scratches or marks. No dust, nothing. I think they will be cases for future mods only because it is hard to justify the cost of gathering parts like PSs and HDDs, cables and controllers for potentially dead units. As expected, neither match my other 360s so I have no parts to check these units out.

Yes these are all good! :) There's just something fascinating about how cheap you can get things sometimes, or even for free :)
