I recently purchased an Xbox, I had one when I was younger and tried to softmod it 3 years ago to no avail, and ultimately sold it. Upon inspecting my new Xbox, it seems to run fine and is a rather beautiful looking console if I do say so myself. The current issue I'm having though, is that along with my purchase of the xbox, I have a copy of Splinter Cell and am awaiting a memory card preloaded with the linux build, to come in the mail to start the softmod. However, I can't seem to find a comprehensive guide on how to load the Xbox with XBMC. The good guides I do manage to find, have dead links and no way to advance, it's become quite frustrating. I joined this forum in hopes of finding some help for my problem. If I can get the XBMC on my Xbox, I know I'll need help later on swapping out the HDD, but that's for another time :3
