XBMC is stopping a movie??

Hi.

I have a little problem with my XBMC4Xbox.
I have a old Xbox (Xbox ver. 1), and i use Slayers softmodding 2,47, and i use XBMC4XBOX 3.2.1
but sometimes, 4 to 6 times during a month, Xbmc just jump out of a movie (Dvdr format ISO)
and is jumping back to archive, anyone know if this is a bug, or just my old Xbox??

Are you using the dvd player or mplayer for playback? also have you done anything to your video settings?

would be handy to post a debug log to show this error, easily done on pastebin and just provide the link.

Mmm, where do i find a logfile?

No i have not chanhed any setting in that way, i dont know what player i'm using,
i just add a network archive and play the movies.
How do i find out what player i'm using?

ok firstly it depends if its hard or softmodded and where xbmc was installed. simply use an ftp program to get into the xbox files and......

if its softmodded its usually e/ apps / xbmc and it will be xbmc.log

if its hardmodded it could still be in e but also in f again either e / f then apps and xbmc

note - xbmc.log is the current log of use and the xbmc.old.log is the previous xbmc session

also the default player should be dvdplayer but pushing the white button on the controller gives you the 'play using option' and from there either the dvd player or mplayer can be chosen.

I found the log file in f:/Apps/XBMC/xbmc.log
but it seems that xbmc was set not to log to file, so i changed that to on,
so i must wait to it jump out of a movie again.

idont use the controller, i use the dvd kit.

I'd give v3.1 a go. I've had much better results using that build for dvds.

What skin are you using?

what resolution is xbmc set to? are you using the same resolution congruently for both xbmc GUI and video playback?
