Playing Zipped/Compressed XBOX ISO?

Was wondering if there was any way to play a compressed game ISO on XBMC?
I know it can be done with emulator roms. Right now I am unzipping the ISO on my PC and transferring the whole folder to XBOX and running the default xbe. Would be nice to save some space. Cheers!

Simply create a folder for your game with the .iso and default.xbe file. I create the default.xbe with xisosplit on my pc.

flip sake thats great news actually didnt know that games could be run from iso and i have alot of games i copied to disk then used dvd2xbox to burn on.

cheers thats just what i wanted. quick question do you just hit the button on the right to get the xbe and then hit the bottom one to process the iso and just upload those to the xbox hdd?

i tried with dead or alive 3 there with the method above and it just restarted xbmc when selected.

keith, in order to run ISOs you must be running nkpatcher (most softmods), Evox M8 or IND-5003.

If you are running one of these bios', then try some different games or you could try it the way I do, found in this thread.

copy attach.xbe from driveimageutils to the same folder as the ISO and rename it default.xbe.
