help some friendly advice is much appreciated

is it me or is this happening to everyone ,one week everything like [removed] ,justin.tv,hulu,crackle,movie trailers,everything is working fine, the next week somethings are working and some or not,then the next week the things that wasnt working is and the ones that was is not,its very tempermental

And please, understand that those 3rd party "free" addons cant work forever. Some people have to spend some of their free time to fix them when they break.

thanks for getting back to me , i guess i thought when it works i was thinking it would continue to work, since its not do i do a reinstall of the jans software to see if it will refix it back like it was when it worked..ftp it

No need to reinstall a whole build, I'm sure fixes will be made to each addon by jan when he has time and then you just update each addon by using the A4X Installer.

Plugins like this will break all the time due to website changes. Unfortunately there are not enough people able/willing to give up free time to keep this stuff up to date, so you have to wait until the few people who look after the stuff get a moment.

re-installing Jan's build won't help - and BTW I can't recommend anyone use that now, as it's based on an old nightly build. You are better off with the 3.3beta or the current nightly. I am unable to support a dev build from some months back.

ok thanks cause i really like watching jtv movies on there ..and icefilms works but retrieves no links to watch the movies, [removed] pops up but want let me goe through all the movie listings just has the same ones on the list..the only thing that works is crackle to watch movies and thats it......how do i download the 3.3 beta do you have a link and after i do download it do i just ftp it over like i did jans build

When you upgrade boot into a different dash... such as EvoX... browse to the location of your XBMC folder.. delete the contents and copy over the new extracted build.... If you like all the extras Jan adds you may have to wait for him to catch up with the latest and greatest builds thou as 3.3 Beta 1 will be a vanilla build.

ok i turn on the xbox and i leave it on ...then i go to pc and ftp the contents of the 3.3 over to the xbox while its running in the e folder under apps just slide the whole folder over to it and i did that but when i go back to the xbox and reboot it still launches with jans blue xbmc4xbox logo..all i have is evox dashboard on my xbox thats it, should i have 2 dashboards
