Re: DX $20.50 - U2 Mini Android 4.0 Media Player!
Oh I also get that on a couple of addons, most it works fine but I do have a couple I get that problem. Supposedly there is a way around that by editing some stuff in the playerfactorycore.xml file and opting for a different player for different addons or something like that. Anyway for the majority of the stuff I find it works great, works great on [removed] so that's pretty much all I'm worried about

@ xbs, you should try this out (see below), a number of people have claimed it's got hw acceleration support and runs great. I just tried on my mk802 but not having much joy - others have claimed it worked fine for them on the sane device so maybe I'm just doing something wrong. Actually all that happens on mine is it freezes but maybe I just need to plug in a more powerful psu - I'll try that later.
Check this link out, I decided this subject deserved it's own thread
Hopefully the guys at xbmc.org can come to some sort of resolution and get this code out in the open where it should be. Looks like we might not be too far off hw acceleration

Thanks for the info but I rather not install anything from those guys
I'll keep on going to context menu and select the archos video which works great with HW decode... I just miss the AC3 support

They are really good little devices mate, ok they aren't ideal for xbmc yet but give it time
I actually got an email yesterday from DX regarding my order. Basically it said there has been a fault noted with the device so they will refund me but I can keep the device. What do you think the chances of me actually recieving the device are? I had an email the day before saying they are awaiting delivery of new stock so I don't fancy my chances of getting one.
