Ok so here's what I see on bootup.
The first one is before the Xbox plasma, then the second is at the end of the splash.

Yeah, I meant that as well but didn't specifically mention it. The iND bioses also have this type of capability.

Yeah, it's an X2 bios of the 50xx variety.

Yeah you have the latest X2 bios.
About the Logo. See if you have .bmp file on the root of E:\

BTW the Duo X2 GS is a good chip.
