I thought the ARM was 700MHZ as default? I still need to get one, but being in middle America finding one where shipping is less than the cost of the board hasn't happened yet.

Yep, it didn't boot even with OV... tried Rasbmc and OpenELEC... it boots with 950mhz though... but every Pi is different.
I'm using arm_freq=840 and core_freq=375 and the UI is pretty smooth. There's also room for lots os tweaks and improvement so it's only going to be a better experience
EDIT: Got it running from a pen drive but it's slower then my Class 10 :\
I used this tut...
"That's pretty easy to do.
All operations take place under Windows:
- Get the preffered image (*.img)
- Use Win32Diskimager to write the *.img to your USB-Stick.
- Copy the content of the VFat-Partition to an old, small SD-Card. (I use a 512MB-Card)
- On the SD-Card edit cmdline.txt to point to your USB-Stick, e.g. disk=/dev/sda2/ (sda2 is the ext4-Partition on the USB-Stick)
- On the SD-Card edit config.txt, e.g. arm_freq=800, core_frequ=400, hdmi_force_hotplug=1 (This one forces HDMI-Output even the TV isn't powered up yet)
Plug the SD-Card and the USB-Stick in your Raspberry, power up and you probably will have a speedincrease of about 25%
Have fun!

RPi working great with cpu scalling (700mhz-900mhz) also bought a Leguang LG-N18 150Mbps IEEE802.11 b/g/n USB 2.0 Wi-Fi Wireless Network Adapter from dealxtreme that works out of the box with OpenELEC
Hahaha that's really quite amusing, sorry phaze I shouldn't laugh
Just got confirmation that my second one has been shipped today so I should have it tomorrow along with the crystal case and black case (one of the cases is for my current pi I'm using). There was a bit of a delay... now when did I order this? Oh yeah that's right fucking ages ago!
Got one in a black case and one in a crystal, think I'll keep my crystal one as it's a bit geeky but the black one looks really smart and I much prefer the look of that. I had to use my SD card for another project so can't play with them until I order another two up, well I suppose I'd better go and do some more research on which ones work and which ones don't... Actually the 16gb MicroSD sandisk one I was using worked great so maybe I'll just hunt around for a cheap 4/8gb one of those. Any recommendations?
