just wondering where people find the emulators for the Xbox these days. i have an xbox with coinops 4 but its bit overwhelming and i preferred the Resurrection xtras emulators which used a modified version of the pm3 skin which looked very nice.
so does anyone know where to find these or even better versions? a list of working emulators and their console names would be really helpful.
thanks guys

Re: emulators
thanks mate but was hoping for a little more than a link to another website. thought it would also be handy here as its a good feature of the xbox and theres very little mention on the forum about them (i know why theres little mention about coinops) but is it ok to speak of the 'other' emulators?
would also be handy to get other users/members views and feedback on the emulators etc

Re: emulators
My views are laid out here - http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/2012/12/the ... d-the-gpl/ - it's not just coinops that I have an issue with.

Re: emulators
ah buzz i see what you mean, i thought it was only down to the coinops author but i didnt know how bad it really was.
tbh i thought all emulators were against the original laws etc and is installing xbmc either by soft/hard mod not also against the law? (only asking but i do support you on this) and tbh didnt know there was talk between the different authors etc
any matherial ive posted elseware has always been credited to the original author as this is the way it should be. its too bad its come to this....
As for the emulators can we talk about them here or even what consoles are supported etc do you know of the resurection xtra emulator versions i speak of (and is the author known and trusted etc?) i dont want to break the rules or annoy anyone on this site, im a big fan of xbmc on the xbox and really love the forum inc the old one

Re: emulators
emuxtras is probably a better place for info / discussion anyway than here. I don't like telling people what they can and can't talk about, but considering some of the emulators in question use code from xbmc/samba, it's not something I sit comfortably with.
I really don't want to get into yet another discussion over xbox legalities, modding etc. Shortly after every thread completely derails.

Re: emulators
ah ok juz thought it would be nice to have a list of emulators and there current version to give people an understanding of whats able to be used on the xbox. all people say to me is coinops coinops coinops and in really wanted it. however now i have it its just over-packed with stuff and the end result is very cumbersome. that's why i wanted to list and explain abit about the other emulators here ( weren't gong to post links to other websites or anything like that )
the resurrection xtras was the best Ive seen - they used a modified version of pm3 to show the emulators with a nice pic of the actual console along with video support (newer versions) box-art and a favorites section. This then could be expanded for emulators created for the Xbox's 128mb ram upgrade which could also be detailed. anyways.........
don't worry as i wont mention the emulators here again as it seems to be an issue. ill set up a thread in another forum relating to xbmc xbox and post info there and get users to add there input.
sorry again if i offended you
