Is there a way to hide the on-screen debug-text?xbs wrote:Turn debug log on and if it happens again get the hang log and post it at pastebin.com.
Post the link to the log here so we can have a look at it.

Re: [SKIN] Confluence Lite
actually trying out your skin atm.byron wrote:@ neohasse...viewtopic.php?f=14&t=993&p=9139#p9139

the feeling and the flow of it is great, only thing is for some reason it replaced all my season posters of my series with the banner of the show.. annoying.

@ neohasse...I'd rather not hijack this thread talking about that. If you would care to continue that line of thought...http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... 9159#p9159
@ Smith Online...sorry nobody replied to your post. I'm not quite sure how to help as I'm not really familiar with this skin. What you're asking isn't exactly the easiest process to take on though

No extra features have been added to keep it as lite as possible.
I know what you mean @xbs but eden had background customiser and the vertical confluence skin for xbmc4xbox also has it i prefer this skin but would really like background customiser as it make xbmc look a million times better
dont know why it was removed in frodo.
menu options simply lets you add custom buttoms to click directly to your sources etc
please help @xbs
confluence lite moddified : )
thanks in advance

Re: [SKIN] Confluence Lite
Like byron says:
As we're trying to keep as much inline with mainbranch as possible it would be better to direct your question upstream (xbmc.org). Presuming our version of the skin performs in the same way (I don't have time to check) there is an option in skin settings for a custom background. Failing that you could just ftp over whatever background you want and replace the default one.@ Smith Online...sorry nobody replied to your post. Re: [SKIN] Confluence Lite
I doubt you'll get a very positive response from xbmc.org regarding the xbox - they completely dropped the platform years ago. I may well be wrong (hopefully I am!) and someone on there may help but I would suggest asking them if they would consider adding the functions back to the mainbranch skin in Frodo rather than mentioning xbox. If they do that then hopefully xbs can port the code over to xbox. I'd suggest searching through the official Confluence thread and make sure it's not been mentioned before - if you double post be ready for a backlash
As for xbmchub, it's definitely the place to be for addons and helpful support but you don't get many skinners hanging out over there. Ideally you want this fixed upstream on mainbranch, I don't know why they took it out as it was a good feature but I'm sure there's a good reason. Is it just the general background you want to change (blue bubbles) or do you want a different background for each section? If it's the generic background then the option is still there (on xbox too) - you just navigate to the file you want to use.

Re: [SKIN] Confluence Lite
With the original Confluence skin, you are able to force Video to go to file mode instead of library with a change in settings. This is missing in Confluence Lite and was driving my wife nuts (and forcing me not to use it). But after the post by xbs, I tweaked one of the config lines to make it work.
In Home.xml, search for
and change it to.
My wife is now happy which of course makes me happy.
In Home.xml, search for
Code: Select all
ActivateWindow(Videos,root)
Code: Select all
ActivateWindow(VideoFiles,return)
