Some helpful people decided to steal the phone lines which meant we haven't had a phone or internet connection since Thursday night, thankfully its now been fixed.
There's been a lot of this happening in my part of the world though, the prices of copper are such that its now worthwhile for people to rip down/up the phone and electric cables. Apparently this time they took up two manhole covers some distance apart, cut the cables and were in the process of attaching one end to van to pull out when they were disturbed.
And what was presumably a few minutes work for them took BT 5 days to repair.
We also lost our electricity last year when someone stole the power lines.
On a side note, just been checking my emails and I have 70 in the spam folder
