It's still 'no'.
The pi streams just fine with xbmc. Honest.
I've no idea what that article's trying to say, unless it's that you can't access Hulu directly (ie not via xbmc).
Having said that I've never used Hulu, so maybe that's a case apart. Is it US only?
I know stuff like [removed], sports devil, navi-x etc (anything I've tried that works on my pc build) works.

Just saw a demo at a friend the other day. Streaming from a NAS seems flawless even in HD. Also Icefilms works without any problems. I am actually considering replacing my xbox as the main unit with this one......

The "problem" with the RPi is that the menus/view with fanart are a bit slow compare to an "real" PC...
This can be improved with OverClock, setting the OverClock trigger lower (e.g. 50-60) and run it from a fast USB pendrive e.g. USB 3.0

I just received my PI and installed it with RASPBMC. sofar works like a charm, but indeed does sometimes respond a little slower than the xbox when using Transparancy! but it is a heavy duty skin.
Sofar no problems but unfortunately it doesn't play DVD rips. Hope they solve this in the near future. On the other hand, it plays HD just fine from my NAS or laptop, so I can't complain......

I read about improvments when loading XBMC from USB, but do not really understand it....

There's a massive improvement in performance if you use a USB 3.0 stick. I'm using the Jetflash 700 8gb stick and it's working brilliant - really fast, lots faster than a class 10 SD card.

I know the r-pi only has USB 2.0 ports so in theory USB 3.0 shouldn't make any difference but it really does - there is a technical explanation but I don't really understand, all I know is that it works so I'm very happy

You need to buy a licence from the RPi store for mpeg-2 (DVD ISO) playback.

Link? You mean to the usb stick or the technical explanation? The stick cost £5.99 from ebuyer but I think its now gone up a pound. There was a link to the technical stuff posted on xbmchub, you'll find it in the r-pi section somewhere. I think it was tuxen that posted the link.

I bought the license but there are still issues with VIDEO_TS and DVD iso playback on the PI.
HD works fine, so I am happy.... I can still use the XBOX for the DVD rips

Also with a XBOX to USB connector, the XBOX remote works out of the box, so no need to buy a IR receiver or new remote

I love mine, still need to try the USB install to improve perfromance, but overall it works great. Also good to know the XBOX remote works out of the box, so I bought myself a XBOX to USB cable for a couple of euro and can use the existing remote without original config (when using RASPBMC).

Does the PI have any IR/RF receivers built in, other than a hacked xbox sensor what else can you use that would work with a logitech uni remote ?
