so i know that these old xboxs will always have limits. but i want to get as close to the limits as i can. i have the 3.2 XBMC on my xbox and want to be able to play the highest quality videos i can. so far i have had my best luck encoding videos with VLC media using these options:
container: AVI
codex: DIVX 3
bitrate: 12000
framerate: 30fps
audio: ac3, bitrate 320, 5 channel, 48000 sample
i can watch 1080i movies with good playback and surround sound. but there is still some choppy points. im far from a media expert, maby someone can recommend something to make it better?
