Cover controller ports

Post by spinnersp »

On my slim mod,I've mounted DVD dongle inside controller port 4, and a wireless controller (dongle?) inside port 1. I want to blackin those ports out, I was thinking of using lens from old sunglasses, was just wondering what else it might use, that would let ir through.

i filled the outermost ports and moved the ir dongle (desoldered on a extension) to where the power button used to be

i also did this mod but made a small square hole in the small square beside where the dvd drive opens. i then used my trusty dremel to cut a small part out of a front window on an old ntl / virgin media box and stuck it on. because of the colour you would even notice and it gives a really nice finish
