Nice website and nice looking cabinets, but I can't find out what is inside? Jamma board, PC or Xbox?

Re: MAME Arcade cabinets UK
They do look nice but I'd suggest try making your own. It's lots more fun and a damn site cheaper! I would imagine they are running a PC in there, You can make a decent arcade machine out of a P4 so the PC parts are cheap enough to buy. I'm currently finishing off my corner media hub / arcade unit and when that's done I'll be making a portable tabletop arcade unit with touchscreen (ideal for those pub games like Hex, Bullseye, Spot The Difference etc.). Let me know if you want to know where to start and I'll point you in the right direction.
Talking of which while we're on the subject of arcade machines, does anyone know where I could buy a wooden beer/wine barrel from? Someone posted a photo of a cocktail cabinet made out of a barrel and it looked great, I want to make one with an xbox inside but am struggling to find a barrel.

Now that sounds like an idea.whufclee wrote: Talking of which while we're on the subject of arcade machines, does anyone know where I could buy a wooden beer/wine barrel from? If you cant get one off ebay,I saw half barrels last week at our local garden centre, I'm sure a little phone call might get their suppliers name if they couldn't get you one themselves

Are you in the UK?

Yes I'm in the UK (Essex). I did find a supplier in Newcastle but they would only offer collection in person... not sure I want one that badly! If you see anything please let me know, I've see the little half barrels in garden centers but never a full size one that hasn't been cut down

Re: MAME Arcade cabinets UK
Thanks guys, the ones in Sunderland and Grays look perfect. In fact I think that Sunderland one was the place I was looking at before but carrier charge was going to be a killer. I tried to fit it in with going to Newcastle v West Ham but ended up going to Belfast that weekend instead!
@twofires: Thanks for chipping in with that link, Grays is only down the road from me... £55 though, hmmm can I really afford that at the moment? I might have to stick some stuff on ebay to get some funds first I think. Just noticed you're from Leigh-On-Sea, I'm always down there visiting my in-laws, well the father-in-law was round mine today attempting to put a new fusebox in. That was fun and games, however I now have leccy again! In exchange I've set him up on a r-pi, seems like a fair swap to me, although I noticed their computer is just the other side of the wall behind the TV so it seems silly not to go around there when they aren't about and drill a big hole through the wall so they can have a dedicated htpc with XBMC

Re: MAME Arcade cabinets UK
Thanks BKO, I've been looking every time i get dragged into a garden centre by the missus but can never find any full size ones. They always seem to be cut in half so I might give one of those ebay sellers a call and see what they can do for me.
