Xbox Infinity

Post by Geeba »

Apparently could be with us in June!

http://vr-zone.com/articles/xbox-720-or ... 18587.html

Intel CPU
nVidia GPU
Running 8GB RAM

Sounds similar (vendor wise) to the original! :D

Wonder who will be the first to request XBMC! LOL!

being intel and nividia makes it probally not backwards compatable like what we had with the 360/xbox why do they do this to us every time? i guess it is their plan to make us all buy new games.

wonder if they will go crawling to sony to liscence blueray or go with some pripority cd system? sticking with semi standard cd style disks has sort of kicked them in the behind ofer the last few years with all the drive firmware modding.

well we will see in time i guess.

Had the same idea about no backwards compatibility. but 300 isnt a bad price for such a machine.

From what I've read... no blu-ray, apparently solid state could be used.. which would be ideal, faster and more child proof! plus the online content of course, more rumors are that you cant use 2nd hand games in the next gen consoles ether....

I skipped the 360/PS3, I had a few of the previous gen consoles such as Xbox and PS2... I'm more of a PC gamer... but I might give the next xbox a whirl.. :)
