Can no longer play my audio stream on local network

I updated to version 3.2-r31195 last night. Now I can't play my local network's audio stream.

I stream music from Winamp and pick it up all throughout the house on various devices. It worked fine with the xbmc4xbox until my update last night (I think I updated from version 3.0).

My playlist file is titled 'Playlist.m3u' and the file is a simple text file that consists of one line:

http:\192.168.0.3:8000

Anyone have any insight as to why I can't play this 'playlist' anymore? I can still pick it up on all of my other devices so I know it's something to do with xbmc...

And of course, you're correct, the playlist is actually as you typed it (http://192.168.0.3:8000/).

I've tried variations of the playlist http entry (with the trailing forward slash, without the forward slash, with 'listen.pls' appended after a forward slash, etc.). all result in the same thing, no music playing...

Thanks for any help you can provide. I don't want to revert back to an old version of xbmc4xbox but will have to if I can't get this working...

Do you still have your old version around (you can keep as many versions you want, just keep them in separate folders, even if you boot your main one, you can run the old one say from XBMC4Xbox File Manager, just run default.xbe). If so, run a debug listing from that as well please.

Alternatively, you can try (meaning you don't need to overwrite your main installation) the latest development build - use this plugin to download and install in a separate folder.

Okay, here's a log from xbmc4xbox 3.0-r30850:

I can succesfully play my stream from this version. The log shows startup of xbmc, navigating to my music list and then selecting the stream. Once the stream was playing for 5 seconds or so, I stopped it and then grabbed the log.

What functionality (if any) am I missing in version 3.0 vs. 3.2?

Might be worth updating to latest development build, see how it works in there (as I said earlier, don't need to overwrite your current build, install in a separate directory and try).

afair shoutcast code was updated in 3.0 but reverted back maybe for 3.2 due to issues with some disappearing ram. could be the current implementation has problems. If you have issues with the nightly, you can open a bug about it on the development site.
