Yeah I was excited when I saw that.... I have an android phone and a Xoom tablet....
The Xoom is Tegra2 which isnt currently supported and my mobiles is a hacked HTC HD2 running ICS 4.04 and also wont work...

Its working on my Galaxy Nexus but the videos are laggy (SMB, local, SD, HD.. @1344MHz).
The interface is a bit hard to use.. there is some major skin work to be done for it to be usable on a phone.. i guess its not a big problem on a tablet.
Another option would be to use a remote control (bluetooth, wifi.. another phone lol).
Even if the videos are laggy.. this made my day.

I also couldn't believe what I was reading when I seen this posted on xbmc.org, Been waiting for news on this for a long long time. I was sooo disappointed the day when I found out that xbmc was running on iOS and mac but not Android which is also opensource and so closely related to linux its sick, But I guess since the hardware varies across soo many devices it proves far more difficult. But great news to hear the confirmation that one day sooner than later us Android users will finally get what we've been so patiently waiting for, and I will never have to suck it up and bite into that poison apple, ever lol
Edit: I tested this on my Acer Icona A200 Tablet, but sadly since its also got the Tegra2 gpu/chipset it doesn't load up

Just for anyone who's missed it you can now run xbmc on a tegra2 tablet.

No hardware acceleration, so it won't play HD, but it'll play more than the xbox does on my tablet (advent vega) and streaming add-ons are working too. Brilliant!
