Temps can vary due to so many variables like indoor temp, is the xbox in an enclosed entertainment center, fan CFM and any other cooling mods. I usually get close your temps but a little higher because it gets so hot down here. Thank you sir, i dont think i'll be able to keep up as well with the drinking part for sure.

Man, I need to do this. I currently have the stock (I think) fan setup with the 12v mod and that thing sounds like a jet engine!

Would I be able to revert that 12v mod back to stock and just adjust my fan speeds? Until I can get a better aftermarket fan?

Yep, you would have to run the fan off of the motherboard though where the stock fan plugged in. If the fan plug was cut to achieve the 12v you'll need to get a new plug and tape or solder it up.

Infinity and zero respectively.

Just finished with two 80mm silent fan mod.

Damn they are really a tight fit.

This was my first fan I used, did not have to cut that much on it.

The other one is a Arctic Cooling fan, and this one needed much to cut.

Both pictures are the same SHENZHEN XIN WANG ELECTRONICS 80mm fan.
I looks like a cheap brand, but it is quieter than the Arctic AF 8025.

I did not make a photo of the Nexus and Arctic Cooling 80mm fan.

I used an xilence fan myself dimensions 80x80x25 so that artic fan should fit

Well, yes and no. Its a PWM (4 pins) fan. You should get a normal (3 pins) one.

things i did
1 if you have a compressor go ouside clean every thing with a compessor helps allot
2 clean cpu gpu + heatsink than aply new thermal paste doesnt matter witch brand i used the cheapes chinese brand 1 dollar believe it doesnt matter
but every things needs to be clean
3 there is a big plastic onder the hdd cady take it offf it blocks airflow from psu side it helps allot
4 cut there intire piece of plastic hdd cady where it says danger etc sticker cut it off more cooling for the hdd helps allot
5 cut out the metal grill at the fan alsow cut out the plastic grill behind the fan helps allot more airflow less noise
6 mem coolers video chip cooler etc

my xbox runs idl 22gpu 26 cpu
halo 2 / 6 hours straight gpu 35 cpu 40 stable / with stock fan 70mm did not do the 80mm fan mod maybe wil do it on the future

oh and i have fan speed at 2% in avalaunch

An observation (not criticism) - your cutting is far more extensive than I do on my fan mods. Similarly to RoyalX, I never need to cut the DVD chassis mount, and I cut the hard drive chassis mount less extensively than you do. I hope the consequence of doing less cutting is that the high airflow rate over the CPU cooler is retained. Another consequence is that the whole assembly is very snug, retains its rigidity, and I don't need any zip ties to keep the fan, or any other parts, firmly held in place.

Well it depends on which fan (make or brand) you use spicemuseum
With this fan I did not have to cut on the DVD tray and only had a few cuts on the HDD tray.
Cause this fan has no corners on one side. So I measured it out very well on the HDD tray. The line from a marker is still visible
But on my other xbox with a different fan. I had to cut more from the HDD tray and grind a bit from the screw paw of the DVD tray.

But I did not need any zip ties.

I see on the vid, that you pry the clip from the side to get the fan out.
Try to pry with a (small) flat screwdriver vertically from above on the clip. The fan pops out.
Thisway the clip won't break.
