PS2 steering wheel -> Xbox?

Anyone know if it's possible to re-wire a Playstation2 Steering Wheel to work on an Xbox?
I got one really cheap with pedals and would like to use it on the Xbox if it's possible

I'm sure I read somewhere that these adapters didn't work with steering wheels. I can't remember where I read it, so I know that's not very helpful! If you're prepared to take the risk and buy one, do let us know if it works!

Couldn't you use that adapter to use a ps* remote over usb?

Update on the PS2 steering wheel: I've got an PS to XB adaptor, and I can report that some Xbox games work, and some don't. But it does look like most of the arcade emulated games do seem to work. ie: the original Out Run and Super Hang-On. I can compile a list if anyone's interesred?

I replied to this post but somehow it dissapeared, i have a madcatz wheel that has both xbox and PS2 plugs which either means that use similar wiring or there is a converter built into the wheel.
