Hey,
I havent actually installed Coin Ops(4) yet but i wondered if anyone could help.
Basically i wanted to know how simple, easy or even if it would work if i added games to Coin ops. I appreciate i would probably need a video and info for it to be listed properly - but i wondered if it was as straightforward as dropping them into a directory?
Also, is there a supported games list for Coin Ops4 anywhere? I appreciate Coin Ops5 is coming soon, but the information will still be relevant (im guessing).
The net is littered with confusing information on C-Ops!

Re: Coin OPS - Adding Roms
Coinops project forum would be your best bet for information but yes you can just drop suitable roms into a roms folder and the video in the videos folder.
Sent from my android coz apple is for pie.
Re: Coin OPS - Adding Roms
Your best bet is to wait for CoinOPS 5 which should be out soon. As a guess, I would say it will be in the region of 60GB. You can of course wait for a lite version, which will be a longer wait I presume.
What you should know about CoinOPs is that it is hard coded to not work unless you have a set number of games added to it. Something like 3000 games I read.

Re: Coin OPS - Adding Roms
Agreed. But largely irrelevant since it comes with, like, ninety nine thousand twelve hundredweight million games by default.BuZz wrote:which is totally stupid.Bigby wrote: What you should know about CoinOPs is that it is hard coded to not work unless you have a set number of games added to it. I recently added the resurrection xtras to my xbox.
Which to people prefer? I know the moral prefer xtras because of BP ignoring public licence... but on a whole I prefer coinops at the moment. I need to find a skin I like I guess for the emulators
