Hello, i've been trying to upload a .bin file, but the ftp transfer with filezilla keeps on stopping at the 514 megabytes mark even though the file itself is 730 megabytes.
I have no idea what to do.
The console is directly connected to the computer using an ethernet cable so there are no routers or switches between them.
Could someone help me please?
Thank you so much

Re: Ftp transfers stop at 514 megabytes mark
Rather than FTPing it to the Xbox as a .bin file have you tried ZIPping (or RARing) not 7ZIPping it and FTPing that to it instead? I've found that this can help when I've suspected firewall or anti-virus settings issues or something else unknown have been interfered with the transfer.
Obviously you have to be sure the file is OK.
Depending on your main dash you can unpack it on the Xbox itself. This can be done with both XBMC's file manager and UnleashX. I suggest you FTP it to a new temporary folder rather than directly into place.

Re: Ftp transfers stop at 514 megabytes mark
Being 7Zip you'll need to unpack it first on PC then repack it as an ordinary Zip or RAR if you have WinRAR.
As indicated the Xbox dashes mentioned can only unpack ordinary Zips and RARs.
Hope it work for you.

unfortunately it doesn't work, the transfer ends even sooner than previously.Coldly-Indifferent wrote: ↑Sat Jun 14, 2025 3:16 pm Being 7Zip you'll need to unpack it first on PC then repack it as an ordinary Zip or RAR if you have WinRAR.
