Amazingly I am testing this skin for the first time and it's a cracking piece of work, so light and fast. I know you have said your skin is dead Dom but Rocky's is really for gamers only and not for Media Centre users such as myself - which after all is what XBMC was built for. Anyways, a question. Is there anyway to keep the video section on 'file mode' from library mode instead of having to change it every time? I have unticked enable mode but this makes no difference. Cheers

Whilst it's been a while since I've seen the original version of this skin in action, in the version I've remastered, I've used "ActivateWindow(VideoFiles,root)", where I want to navigate to video files. You will need to look though the Home.xml and search for "VideoLibrary" to find all the instances of onclick events that take you to the video library, and then work out which one it is that you need to change. if i remeber correctly, looking through that file is a headache as its formatted as a single line, but with notepad++ there's an xml tools plugin that can "prettyfy" it, and correct the format to nested code for easier navigation.


I think it may be the below one. Change the area in bold to (VideoFiles,root), but make a backup of your Home.xml first, just in case.

I've built a gamer-centric remaster of this skin with all bugs fixed and added few more features and reduced mem usage quite a bit, but I cant release it until Dom responds to my PM from back in Feb, allowing me too, and he seems to have left the scene for now unfortunately. Although it's gamer-centric focused remaster, It still retains access to all media types through the guide and side menu rather than the home screen.
