Replacing a bad clock cap on a Version 1.6

...because sometimes they do go bad...even on 1.6's.

Can the capacitor just be removed, or do they have to be replaced on Version 1.6's?
This box is modded with an Aladin XT.

In versions v1.0 to v1.5, just remove it.
In versions v1.6 and v1.6b, it cannot be removed, only replaced by another capacitor in good condition.
