HD Issues

Post by Xander5 »

To make a long story short, my backup of the MS dash is giving me error code 21 and I can't get in to enable HD. XBMC is working fine, just whenever I try to turn on HD, it crashes with a black screen. I know this is because of the MS dash settings for HD. So, is there a way to enable HD without using the MS dash? Alternatively, are there any ways to get the MS dash working again?

Thanks,

Softmod? If so, which one? (...is it using virtual C and virtual EEPROM ?)

Yes, I did a hotswap. And I'm not very familiar with the terms you're using. Can you explain?

EDIT: I used NDure for the initial exploit

You have to bypass virtual eeprom before you try to enable HD modes from XBMC. Just run NDURE Toolset (E:\NTDS\default.xbe), the LED will turn red, then you can run XBMC from the file manager and enable the HD modes.
