To make a long story short, my backup of the MS dash is giving me error code 21 and I can't get in to enable HD. XBMC is working fine, just whenever I try to turn on HD, it crashes with a black screen. I know this is because of the MS dash settings for HD. So, is there a way to enable HD without using the MS dash? Alternatively, are there any ways to get the MS dash working again?
Thanks,

Yes, I did a hotswap. And I'm not very familiar with the terms you're using. Can you explain?spicemuseum wrote:Softmod? If so, which one? (...is it using virtual C and virtual EEPROM ?)
EDIT: I used NDure for the initial exploit

Re: HD Issues
You have to bypass virtual eeprom before you try to enable HD modes from XBMC. Just run NDURE Toolset (E:\NTDS\default.xbe), the LED will turn red, then you can run XBMC from the file manager and enable the HD modes.
