thanks for this, it's pretty sweet! at first i wondered about the choice not to include navi-x, then i looked at the content available through the vid plugins and they seem to render navi-x pretty redundant.
i have found that attempting to play any sort of youtube content through [removed], or logging in to the youtube plugin, is making the xbox crash. perhaps navi-x is still the only reliable way to play youtube videos?

Youtube works but not with loggin , please give it a chance without login and its works !

when you have a pc with xbmc eden loogin on the xbmc on youtube plugin and copy the settings from your zoutubplugin from pc to Q/userdata/plugins/youtube/ and it works with your account!

[removed] /Urlresolver/ looks for the youtube plugin and it works than to!

Have for a User that 3.2 Youtube addon from Eden for Dharma adapted and the Login will not works to it is a pzthon 2.4 problem!
But all the others works on Dharma with mz adapted addon we on Eden!

When the video starts hit X.

I got mosaic to play video in the foreground. You'll need to ftp it from Jan's 2.1 however.

Go to skin settings and disable "show video in background" and enable fanart.

Youtube addon will work without account settings / Login will not work!
But when you have a Pc with xbmc - login on your Youtube addon on the Pc and Ftp the Settings File to Q/Userdata/plugins/video/Youtube and you have for a little moment a full working Youtube Addon on the XBOX

What about launching the python script to log-in on the PC and do the FTP instead of installing a whole XBMC on the PC for that?
This would be much easier... do you think is it possible Jan?

Hey Jan good work on this build. It seems like the streaming from my mbp osx 10.8.2 with smbup seems to be working again. Havent really messed with anything else, but so far so good. I did run into one little problem though. For some reason I can't youtube working. It tells me script error. I think I did everything I was supposed to. Not sure if I downloaded the fix, but I thought I did. Heres a debug log if you want to check it out http://pastebin.com/UTtmWyUG Would like to have youtube working again. Thanks for the good work Jan and everybody else for keeping xbmc4xbox going.

I can not understand The Problems , but i can understand what the Debug Log say!


1-- when i make a build i have all tested i zip the build upload the build download the build and make a fresh install from it - make all the stettings and Test all again!
When all its working i give the link!

The fix for Youtube was for the old Version and the new 3.2 will works without the fix - but without login

Have you installed over the old build?
That is Bad and no go , make a fresh install!!

I can not understand that s all works explizit Youtube by me from the same installation!

I upload a zip from my build for you with Youtube and the the dependencies again!

I think that is not the solution The only Solution for Loggin to Youtube is Python 2.6 and we have python 2.4!

Its the same with the old Dharma Build (main XBMC) she have no Addon for Youtube but that what i adapted works on Dharma to but without login and it give the same error on Pc we on XBMC4XBOX!

I look that i can python module from python 2.6 or 2.7 adapt to working with python 2.4 but this will have Time!

Most of the Module we urllib , urllib 2 since outdated i make many on my build with my adapted scriptmodule.mechanize what give the same fuctions we the old urllib2 but better(redirect and many more)!
By Youtube it will not help!

When i press START during a film, i can see the cover and the CODECs
But when i'm on the list and ask information for a film, there are all the informations without the codecs !
Can we change that ? Or you remove them for some reason ?

And can we use CLEARART to replace COVER during the film ?

I have xbs asked for this for you!

I look its works on main xbmc and when its works why it not work for xbmc4xbox!

you can change the view but confluence light haver cleanart view?
I think no - when no ask xbs fot that!

I noticed the xbox CPU ran at 100% and was getting lag watching the stream. It was not a buffer issue it was a xbox cpu issue.

How can I avoid cpu running at 100%?

Maybe have a pluggin setting for [removed] where we can choose a force a resolution, I believe Hulu has some settings like that. At least Bluecops Hulu does.

When you have downloaded the last Days from the First Post on this Thread than have you my actual custom builds with addons and scripst , script.modules from main xbmc adapted from me!

When yes and its works not give me a Debug Log !
This is verry easy with XBMCLOg Uploader under scripts you must make the settings for your email and then run the Log uploader when its down look on your email and you have the link for log !

All WHAT YOU WANT CAN YOU READ ON THE FIRST POST FROM THIS THREAD!
PLEASE GO TO 1 CHANNEL RESOLVER SETTINGS AND MAKE XBOX FRIENDLY SETTINGS (maximal 480p)

I am running 4-5 XBOXes for various friends and have decided to go with this build until everything breaks on them again.

I'll try to report back anything useful! So far, from my testing, this has fixed 95% of the things I was hoping for.

I can access urlresolver settings but not much there.

Hey Jan thnaks for the response/s. I dont even know how to make a fresh build. I just always ftp over, but I run unleashx when doing that not xbmc, and seem to not run into many problems doing it that way. There was a post on here or the old xbmc4xbox site that had asked peoples process of installing, and it seemed a lot of people did it like that and seemed to be fine. I think I put the fix in my youtube and that might have jacked it up. If you can

No rush though as I'm really busy with school, but I'd just like to get this youtube working if I can. Other then that everything else seems to be fine. I'll try to mess with the XBMCLOg uploader and see if I can get it working.


P.S. I did re ftp'd the build and it seems to be working now. It might have been a corupt transfer when I was ftp'ing it over the first time. All is good over here. Keep up the work Jan.
