FTP in games? (error 21) [Fixed]

I think I've encountered another issue already...

I've used your extra disc to install XBMC, as you recommended, to E:Dashboard but I looked before restarting and the folder is empty. I tried XBMC4Gamers and that leaves it empty also. Has it worked and Is safe to reboot?

Also C drive appears to be empty '484/484mb free' Is that a bad sign or is it empty due to protection?

Time to stop using th disc, something is wrong with your Xbox.

Just manually install them for th time beeing untill you work out why your drive isn’t reading the disc properly.

If you do a reset you will be taken to a recover menu and there you can fix the dash from the Xbox.

Just rebooted into Unleash X, everything seems fine. But C: drive is definitely empty as it cannot load the normal dashboard.

Any idea on what I should do now? All I wanted was XBMC

My drive shouldn't have anything wrong with it, I can play and copy games off it just fine.

[UPDATE] I tried XBMC4Xbox On 'C: Dashboard' and it worked first time and boots into it when I power on the console.

When you install anything as a dashboard to E using the extras disc it tells you it will remove the dashboard on C as that will always be booted first, that’s why your C partition was empty.

I still don’t get how it’s not installing constantly to your HDD, is the drive struggling to read the disc eg....?

The drive loads the disc every time, from boot up or inserting it when the console on. One problem I noticed was if I left it Idling for a while e.g. whilst I was watching one of your videos to check what I was doing, that would cause it to not copy/install correctly. But if I went onto the disc and did something straight away it would work fine.

That’s a strange problem well just install stuff straight away and there should be no issues
