Slight 360 Problem.
Well it's actually pissing me off somewhat. Appears my son has deleted his Live profile from his machine. It still has 9 months on it. Is there any way to recover the account and the tag name or has he just lost 9 months?.

Just use account recovery. Its somewhere in the options for profiles I think, or could be in the options of live.
He will have to know his password that he used in the beginning when he set it up, but other than that it's pretty straight forward

Had a look and on his HDD it shows up as "Corrupted Profile".....5mb.......... so it appears to still be there however the tag name shows up as "Corrupted Profile" rather than his normal game tag. Only provision for deleting or moving I can see in the options. Any ideas?.

there is an option on the xbox live blade to do a recover gamer tag you will need your windows live id info (email and password).xman wrote:Had a look and on his HDD it shows up as "Corrupted Profile".....5mb.......... so it appears to still be there however the tag name shows up as "Corrupted Profile" rather than his normal game tag. but some game saves are tied to your profile so they wont work if you recover and you may have to open up the saves on your pc rehash and sign them with your id.
