Swap in a Pre-Loaded HDD

Hi guys I have a friend who is selling me a 250GB hard drive, loaded full with coinops and emus and things.

I have already softmodded my xbox, but all the tutorials I that I have read deal with a fresh drive and format via Chimp.

How can I swap in this drive without losing all the cool stuff thats inside

They will need to send it unlocked to you & then you lock the HDD to your eeprom using chimp.


If you use Chimp 261812 you do the following to lock the HDD to your system.

Option 3 > Option 1 > Option 1

You will need to follow any chimp tutorial up until the chimp menu appears, as you are locking the drive and not wanting to clone anything.
