New to xbmc4xbox need help

I have used xbmc for years to watch my 2tbs of collect movies. I never used the addons, scripts ext. I was pointed to Kodi so I installed it on my PC to check it out, the interface had features of my xbmc so I did some checking and found this site.
I installed xbmc4xbox and its up and running. I have been trying to install the addons I was playing with on the PC but everything I try to install comes up with Script Error! installation failed. I was able to get Addon Installer in but anytime I try to install one it comes up with Script Error! Addon Installer.
I was able to get Phoenix to install but again anything I try to do with it Script Error! Phoenix.

I am hopeful that someone can help.

Can you please give us a debug log please, read this:

You seem to be running XBMC4Xbox 3.5.1 (latest release as of date), but you mention you "were able to get Addon Installer in", it should come with the distribution (?), where did you get it from? Can you open Q:\plugins\programs\Addons4Xbox Installer\changelog.txt and see if it looks anything like this?

You seem to have some network related errors, we need a debug log to see more on that.

I will get on that debug asap, the wire on the controler just failed.

The addon installer is an app that I was pointed to. http://www.htpcbeginner.com/install-add ... ller-kodi/

However any app from any repository were giving me the same issue.

That won't work with XBMC4XBOX as it is not Kodi , are there any apps in particular you are after ?
Bare in mind no talk of any app that allows illegal stuff can be discussed here .Sites like Noobs and Nerds might be a better place to ask / look if that's what you are after .
