Well here in Norfolk we're supposedly all inbred farmers, so IMO the drunk stereotype is better than that

Interestingly anyone attempting a Norfolk accent always ends up sounding like they're from the west country, much to our amusement. We do share a love of and a deep history of cider making with the west country, so perhaps that is linked to our accent in some way.
Of course we genuinely are inbred, mum's traced her family tree and my ancestors on that side of the family all lived in Norwich and did marry a little too close for comfort. We know at least one of them had webbed feet! Thankfully my dads side of the family are Vikings so my genes are fine
